An afternoon by the sea. 

This piece was inspired by an afternoon exploring the beach towns along the coast. La, Jolla, Laguna, Danna Point. I love a quaint beach town with rich history.

And while this painting does not depict a specific location, it captures a feeling. 

The feeling of a day spent in a beach town, enjoying lunch in a seaside cafe, while watching the boats and gulls, surrounded by the smell of lemon trees, flowers and salty air.
