Lady Death

This Painting was inspired by Nesta from the book A Court of Thorns and Roses. A Character who is mysterious, ruthless and not always likable. But her story came to mean so much to me. A story of a woman who is not always kind, and not always easy to like, but she loves hard, and is unwaveringly loyal. 

I couldn't get her and her story out of my head. I had to bring a version of her to life on canvas.
